Mac Studio deals are perhaps the most rare of all the Apple gear deals we track (outside of the venerable Apple Polishing Cloth of course). We see MacBook deals every week in some capacity, same with iPad, AirPods offers almost once a month, and even our fair share of discounts on iPhone. But Mac Studio – a machine not available at Amazon in any official capacity – don’t pop up nearly as often, and there are loads of notable offers up for grabs right now on both current-generation M4 Max models and previous iterations. Okay, now back to the studio-grade Mac. The M4 Max deals above deliver the latest model, but when you are already in the high-end Studio category, the previous M2 Max is still a wonderful machine in my experience and there are some notable deals up for grabs right now:

A brand-new Mac Studio M2 Max with the 512GB SSD and 32GB of RAM for $1,299 ($500 off)…or…the same in Amazon Renewed Premium condition at $899 ($900 off)? 

While that is a $400 price difference, it’s, perhaps, not a particularly easy decision nonetheless. On one hand, the Best Buy offer is brand new with a full Apple warranty, and on the other you have Amazon’s best quality renewed unit with a 1-year Amazon warranty at a drastically lower price. 

For my money, if I was considering this machine right now, I would take my chance with the Amazon package – its renewed premium units have proven to be sound investments in our experience. 

That said, and while these are both rare deals, we have never tracked a deal this good on the Amazon listing ever before – not even once.
