It’s not a giant deal, but it’s an extremely rare one: USB-C Apple Magic Trackpad at $120 (First price drop)

Apple finally updated its official peripherals from the old Lightning charging port to the new USB-C variant – a long overdue upgrade. We have caught some deals on just about all of the new USB-C Magic Keyboards and Mice at this point, as rare and slight as they have been, but today is ushering in the very first chance to save on the official USB-C Apple Magic Trackpad at Amazon. 

The deal here, as is usually the case with Apple’s current-generation peripherals, is indeed slight at only $10 off. But you can and the regularly $130 USB-C Apple Magic Trackpad in white down at $119.99 shipped. 

Obviously that’s not a ton of savings, but it is the very first time we have seen any sort of a deal on it at Amazon since it released roughly 10 months ago now. Any sort of a price drop on this thing is extremely rare. 

The only way to score one an official multi-touch surface controller for less would be to go with an open-box unit via Best Buy. But even those offers aren’t all that much less than the new deal at Amazon today – the “excellent” condition units are currently starting at $114.99 shipped with a full Apple warranty. 

That’s only $5 less than the new price and perhaps not worth it for folks looking to grab the latest model now, but it does go to show just how rare and slight discounts are on the latest USB-C Magic Trackpad.
