Just after seeing some causal tablet deals go live this morning one the latest Amazon Fire HD lineup from $65, we also spotted a notable discount on one of Samsung’s entry-level Galaxy Tabs. Regularly up to $330, Amazon is now offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite down at $199.99 shipped. Details below. 

This model carries a $330 list price but can often be found sitting down at $200 on Amazon – this is the price we saw it drop to for Black Friday last year. Last month’s Prime Day sale saw it fall a touch lower to $190, but you are otherwise looking at a price on par with the best price we have tracked this year. 

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is an Amazon-exclusive that delivers a slightly better, or rather higher-end experience than the Galaxy A9+ you’ll find straight from Samsung. For some, the real value here is that you also get the S Pen digital stylus included with your purchase alongside your choice of three different colorways. 

The Galaxy A9+ is currently selling for $220 at Samsung, but you can land one as low as $159 at Amazon if you’re looking for the absolute most affordable point of entry here.  

It’s certainly not the most powerful Galaxy tablet in the lineup, and the new S11 family is on the way soon, but it is a whole lot lighter on your wallet (as much as $1,000 lighter), and makes for a notable casual Galaxy experience that won’t break the bank.
