While the last couple of weeks have largely been all about the Mac, the iPad deals are starting to flood-in ahead of Labor Day weekend. Ongoing discounts on the M4 MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini lineup have stolen headlines as of late, but the most affordable spectrum of Apple’s latest tablets are all seeing solid discounts in the lead up to the long weekend with discounted pricing starting down at $299

We are indeed tracking up to $200 off the M4 iPad Pro models right now, but I don’t think anyone would categorize those as affordable, even with hundreds in savings.

This go around we are highlighting the more accessible and universally appealing deals across the latest iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad (A16) lineup.

For many, choosing which of these three models to go with isn’t all that difficult – the mini is well, mini at 8.3-inches, the iPad Air is a likely candidate for those looking for the best and most powerful current-gen M series iPad that doesn’t want to spend M4 iPad Pro money, and the 11-inch iPad (A16) is going to offer up notable touchscreen real estate for casual users that don’t care about Apple Intelligence features.

But beyond size, in the end it (mostly) all comes down to price and thankfully the most affordable configurations in all three lineups are now marked down ahead of the Labor Day weekend:

The iPad mini 7 is within $20 off the all-time low pricing at Amazon right now. The iPad (A16) has been sitting at $299 for some time, off and on, and has gone for as little as $280 or so previously.

But the most notable discounts of the bunch, at least by 9to5Toys standards, is the M3 iPad Air lineup – these deals on the most affordable models are now matching the lowest prices we have tracked to date and are even undercutting the deals we saw for Prime Day 2025.

Just be sure to scope out the exclusive offer we have secured on the M2 variant details below if you’re looking for one of the best prices to date on an upgraded model:
