Belkin’s 15W MagSafe car charger mount for 50% off at $40, or the same price for the new 25W UGREEN model?

Belkin’s new Qi2.2 25W MagSafe stands are already up for purchase ahead of iPhone 17, and it is likely only a matter of time before it updates its MagSafe car charger with more power too. But it’s likely going to cost you whole lot more than the $39.99 shipped sale price for the current 15W model we are tracking on Amazon right now. Question is whether or not the extra 10W of juice is worth paying what will almost certainly be close to double the price for the new Belkin one, or just paying the same $40 for the new UGREEN 25W model.

Amazon is now offering the BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Wireless Car Charger with Qi2 15W down at $39.99 shipped. This is a regularly $80 charger that is currently on sale for $60 straight from Belkin and typically fetches closer to $70 at Amazon. Today’s deal delivers the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon and one of the most affordable 15W models we can find from a lauded Apple gear accessory brand. 

As I have stated previously, I’m a big fan of the comparable Satechi model. But the only real difference between it and the Belkin model is the color and the much higher price on the Satechi variant – it dropped to $45 for Labor recently but that’s not a deal we see very often on that one. They are both, however, running on the now previous-gen 15W Qi2 standard.

And again, there is a good chance we start to see 25W models from Belkin hit the market and likely very soon if the influx of Qi2.2 MagSafe gear that has already started to emerge is any indication, but for my money, 15W is plenty fast enough when on the road. I certainly wouldn’t blame anyone for holding off for the faster gear, but you’ll likely be waiting quite a long time before you score any of that at 50% off from the brand name accessory brands.
