GoPro has begun teasing its upcoming MAX 2 360 action cam, suggesting it could arrive sooner rather than later. But while that’s still on the horizon, you might want to jump in and snag the 2025 refreshed model of the original GoPro MAX at $249 shipped. Regularly $350, this updated model first dropped to $249 back in July before climbing back up to its full price. Today’s deal marks the return of that all-time low with a $120 discount, making this a great time to cash in if you missed out on the previous offer and don’t want to pay the full price for the new unit that’ll likely debut in the coming months. Head below for more details.

You’re looking at the refreshed 2025 GoPro MAX 360, which comes bundled with a MAX Enduro Battery and an updated mounting system that works with all standard tripod mounts. This versatile action cam captures immersive 5.6K 30fps spherical video, letting you capture unique POV shots for your videos and creative storytelling. GoPro has also upgraded the software with its new Quik Engine, bringing features like seamless cloud editing, advanced object tracking, and cinematic camera movements. Other key highlights include a built-in touchscreen display, a removable 1,600mAh Enduro battery, and a full set of accessories – including a curved adhesive mount, two protective lens caps, and a microfiber bag.

Earlier today, we also tracked a deal on the GoPro HERO12 Creator Edition combo down at $350. This bundle gets you all the essentials, including a battery grip, a light mod, and more, for just an additional $50 over the camera by itself, and it’s down from its usual price of $549.

GoPro MAX 360 action camera features:

  • Ultra Versatile 360 Video: By capturing 5.6K30 spherical video, MAX gives you the freedom to stay in the moment and still get amazing footage. There’s no need to frame the shot. Just hit the shutter button to start recording. MAX captures everything. Get immersive POV footage of a mountain bike run and shots of you riding from the same video. Slow things down with 3K60 video to capture 2x slo-mo footage of your kids jumping in the pool and everyone’s reaction at poolside as they get hit with the splash. The GoPro Quik app makes it easy to reframe your footage from any perspective so that you can tell your story any way you’d like.
  • Easy 360 Editing With the GoPro Quik App: The GoPro Quik app is packed with features that transform your 360 footage into amazing shareable stories. Object Tracking locks onto your subject and automatically follows it no matter where it roams throughout your spherical footage. You can reframe your 360 footage into standard videos, grab photos and add dramatic transition effects to get exactly the shots you want before posting them right from the app.
  • Stealth Mounting: Capture amazing pole-mounted footage where the pole completely vanishes. Attach MAX to a grip or extension pole using the 1/4-20 mounting threads on the bottom of the camera. The pole will be automatically stitched out of your videos and photos. You can easily create incredible self-capture shots that look as if you’re being recorded by another person and stunning drone-like videos that look like you’re being recorded from the air.
