With pre-orders set to kick off tomorrow morning for the new iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, Amazon has now dropped its Renewed Premium pricing on the iPhone 16 Pro even lower. For those not looking to pay the $1,099+ on a new 17 Pro, we are tracking the now previous-gen series 16 models starting down at $799 on Amazon with a sizable $500 price drop on the 1TB variant. 

We started to see some notable prices on Amazon Renewed Premium iPhone 16 Pro units shortly before the debut of iPhone 17 this week, but some select models have now dropped lower than ever. 

You’ll find all of the most notable iPhone 16 Pro discounts waiting on this Amazon landing page, but the one that really caught our eye our eye was the 1TB iPhone 16 Pro. This was a regularly $1,499 configuration – the same price the 1TB iPhone 17 Pro carries – but you can now score it starting down at $999 shipped over at Amazon in Renewed Premium condition with a 1-year warranty. That’s $500 off and the lowest price we have tracked yet. 

This deal is live on the Natural and Desert Titanium colorways – the black is a touch more at $1,029 shipped. 

Apple certainly made some serious improvements this year on the iPhone 17 Pro models, but it’s not a design that seems to be as universally loved. Time will certainly tell, and I’m actually a big fan of the new Cosmic Orange vibe, but it’s going to be a long while before we see one of those at $500 off the list price.
