Alongside some ongoing $300 price drops at Amazon we spotted this week on the more affordable M4 models (details on those below), Amazon is also now offering a solid $400 price drop on the M4 Max MacBook Pro. This might not be the most popular machine out there, but if you are looking to land a big-time price drop on a seriously powerful model instead of paying full price for the brand new variants Apple is likely to reveal soon, this might be worth consideration for some. 

Amazon is now offering the 16-inch M4 Max MacBook Pro with 32GB of RAM and the 1TB internal SSD down at $3,099 shipped. This is Apple’s most affordable M4 Max 16-inch model that regularly carries a $3,499 list price directly from Apple and elsewhere at $400 off the list price. 

Today’s deal is matching the lowest price we have tracked on the silver variant and lands within $20 or so of the best price on the Space Black. This is also on par with the holiday offer we spotted in December for a couple days. 

Needless to say, not everyone is looking to spend $3,000+ on a new MacBook, we get it. But if you are, you might as well keep $400 in your pocket. That said, there are far more affordable M4 models that are likely more than powerful enough for most folks at $300 off right now too:
