Apple’s new iPhone 17 lineup alongside the iPhone Air are now up for pre-order and will begin delivering starting tomorrow. But for those not interested in paying that sort of a premium for the brand new phone, there are some notable deals live courtesy of Amazon’s Renewed Premium program that delivers 1-year warranties and the best quality units it offers – the most affordable iPhone 15 Pro is now $430 less than the most affordable iPhone 17 Pro.

Amazon is now offering the 128GB iPhone 15 Pro down at $668 shipped in Renewed Premium condition. This was an originally $999 unlocked handset at launch, and right up until the iPhone 16 Pro debuted last year.

While Apple has now nixed the old 128GB storage tier in favor of the 256GB entry model on the new series 17 Pro models, the 15 and 16 Pro handsets started at $999 unlocked at launch and now you can score one for $331 less than that.

It is perhaps a bit of an underwhelming purchase for some, but the iPhone 15 Pro remains a solid handset despite being a couple years old and one that will continue to be for some time. It supports the latest iOS and Apple Intelligence features and comes in at a whole less than the 17. It also retains that now classic camera array around back instead of the new and somewhat divisive plateau treatment Apple has implemented this year. I happen to like the look of the new 17 Pro personally, especially in Cosmic Orange, but not everyone does.
