The brand new official Apple iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Air clear cases are all seeing early launch deals at Amazon right now. While new 17 and Air models are largely the same as year’s past with the all-clear case and MagSafe logo front and center around back, Apple has opted for a new design on the (mostly) clear Pro models with a white color block treatment. 

The design choice on the Pro models was at first a bit curious to me – why have a clear case that isn’t clear? Did Apple just want to offer up something different? You know, without the usual MagSafe ring for the Pro models, or is it trying to hide the fact that the Apple logo isn’t centered anymore on the back of the phone? Or maybe it was just trying to lean into the actual look of the phone itself and pull that into the case?

Either way, the Pro models are actually growing on me – the Clear case paired up with the new silver iPhone 17 Pro or Pro Max is actually a bit of a vibe if you ask me, but perhaps not so much wit the Cosmic Orange or dark blue treatment.
