Alongside the MiNi Ultra model that has been quite popular around here, we just spotted a new CarlinKit CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter landing on Amazon with a launch deal. Known as the Mini Ultra 3 this USB-A or USB-C model delivers a perhaps more stylish look than the typical mini thumb drive variants while still transforming your OEM wired setup into a wireless one – it is now on sale at $45.99 after you clip on the on-page coupon.
The CarlinKit Mini Ultra 3 landed on Amazon earlier this month at $56, but a new on-page coupon is delivering the first chance to save on one down at $45.99 shipped. This is the first cash deal we have tracked, the lowest price we can find, and, if it’s anything like the other models from the brand that have landed on Amazon this year, isn’t likely to drop much lower than this anytime soon.
I’m personally torn here between this new more stylish looking variant and the super tiny MiNi Ultra at $48. They both effectively deliver the same features, and are both relatively compact, but the MiNi Ultra is about the size of a thumbnail.
This newer addition to Amazon – the Mini Ultra 3 – though is perhaps a little nicer looking otherwise – instead of the purplish-blue vibe it features a sort of front face plate and a silver/black finish that might blend in nicer with your console.
