Outside of the July sale and what we have here today in the early Prime Big Deal Days sale, we had never seen this model go for less than $125, which was last seen during the 2024 Black Friday festivities.
For those unfamiliar, the Amazon Echo Hub delivers an 8-inch color touchscreen display that provides a centralized controller for “thousands of Alexa compatible devices” – “thousands of connected locks, thermostats, speakers, and more. WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Matter, Sidewalk and Thread devices sync seamlessly with the built-in smart home hub.”
Amazon describes it as an “easy-to-use Alexa-enabled control panel for your smart home devices,” and, in my opinion, it is one of the more elegant solutions of its type for Alexa-based smart home ecosystems. You can ask Alexa or use the touchscreen to control your lights, smart plugs, smart camera feeds, and a whole lot more. If you have an Alexa speaker already, you can even ask the hub to play some tunes, audiobooks, and more in any room.
