Apple Watch SE 2 cell model hits $189 Amazon low ($110 off), new SE 3 now starts at $240

The Amazon all-time low pricing is starting to emerge on previous-generation Apple Watch Series 10 models at up to $170 off now that the new models have arrived. And we have just spotted Amazon’s best price to date on the Apple Watch SE 2 down at $189 shipped for casual Apple wearable users. 

While there are still some light launch deals on the new upgraded Apple Watch SE 3, Amazon has also now dropped the 40mm Midnight and Silver SE 2 cell models down to $189 shipped. That’s $100 off the original $299 list price and the lowest we can find. It has been extremely rare to these watches drop down below $200 at any point over the last year. Amazon also has the larger 44mm models down at $219 from the original $329 list price. 

Here’s the thing though – the new Apple Watch SE 3, admittedly, just released with some impressive new features that brings them to something much closer to last year’s standard Series 10 models. They are by and large at least a small leap beyond what we see on the SE 2 in my opinion – a Series model S10 chip, gesture support, and finally an always-on display. The question is whether or not the $50 in savings is worth it as you can land a launch deal on the new SE 3 starting at $240 right now:

• Apple Watch SE 3 40mm $239.99 (Reg. $249) 
• Apple Watch SE 3 44mm $269.99 (Reg. $279) 

Now, a deal is a deal, and a lower price is a lower price – $50 is not insignificant by any means. But only the most casual users who just don’t care about the bells and whistles should be considering the SE 2 at this point if you ask me. That said, the deals we have here today are new Amazon all-time lows and great for folks who just don’t care about the latest and greatest.
