Alongside its now live Member Deals Days offers, Best Buy has currently listed Lenovo’s Legion Go S gaming handheld with SteamOS for $549.99 shipped. This particular model hit the scene carrying a $500 earlier this year before jumping up by $100 with an official price hike. Today’s deal shaves $50 off its usual going rate, bringing it close to its original launch price and making it easier on your wallet. The SteamOS-powered variant of the Legion Go is rarely discounted, and it’s now matching the lowest price we first tracked for it in July. That puts it $50 below the base Xbox handheld that’s priced at $600. The more powerful 32GB RAM/1TB SSD model of the Legion Go S is also down at $779.99 shipped with a $50 discount on its $830 usual going rate. Head below for more details.

The SteamOS-powered Legion Go S handheld takes on Valve’s Steam Deck by swapping Windows for a Linux-based experience. The base model packs AMD’s Ryzen Z2 Go chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, while the higher-end version features the powerful Z1 Extreme processor with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage. Both models share an 8-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate support and the same ergonomic design with a bigger fan at the back compared to the one on the regular Legion Go handheld.
