AirTags have quietly become one of my most-used Apple products in recent years. They’re that rare accessory that actually fixes everyday problems and is simple to set up, reliable, and surprisingly versatile. I keep one in each suitcase, toss one in my backpack, slide one into my wallet, and even clip one onto my dog’s collar. Normally, Apple sells them for $29 each or $99 for a four-pack, but what if I told you there’s a way to grab one with a strap for just $4? Here’s how!
The $4 Airtag
Getting this done is actually extremely easy. I do want to mention that this can only be done once (per email), but it will work to get you that $4 AirTag.
If you sign up for my favorite shopping portal (especially this time of year), Rakuten, you can earn a $50 refund after purchasing $50 or more at one of their affiliated retailers within the first 90 days of your account creation! And, of course, Apple just happens to be one of them!

- Receive $50 cash from Rakuten!
The beauty about this is that it does not need to just be for AirTags. This can be for any Apple products. As long as you spend at least $50, you will get the $50 back. So if you want $50 off of an iPad, or use it towards a $50 iPhone case to protect your new iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone Air, you can easily do that. Just make sure you spend at least $50 before tax.
Again, this Rakuten offer is just for first time customers, so if you already have a Rakuten account and want to take advantage of this, then try using another email! This is a fantastic way to get an AirTag for almost free, especially for those who have never owned one and want to see if they are worth it!
PrimeDay AirTag deals
Now, if you have already used up the Rakuten method, I do want to point out that Amazon PrimeDay is starting October 7th, so there will be some great AirTag deals there (not quiet for $4 but still great value). As I mentioned above, the retail pricing for AirTags from Apple is $29 for a single and $99 for a 4-pack. But if you go through Amazon, those same AirTags are $19 for a single and $64 for a 4-pack! Bringing the per AirTag price down to just $16 if you get the 4-pack from Amazon. These are great as a stocking stuffer, a gift for someone at work, or even just a gift for yourself!
