Apple iPad A16 delivers an 11-inch Liquid Retina Display with 12MP front and back cameras, Touch ID, and “all-day battery life” with a regular price starting at $349. While we have seen it sitting down lower than that quite a lot in 2025, things are now even more affordable. 

Amazon is offering the entry 128GB model down at $279 shipped for the fall Prime Day festivities. Outside of a couple random on-page coupons, this is on par with the lowest we have tracked. 

While the A16-powered tablet certainly isn’t the most performant in the lineup, no matter how you look at it scoring a current-generations iPad at under $300 is pretty wild. Power users and folks looking to invest in a M series machine aren’t going t be all too impresed here, but when it comes to casual users, something for the family, or just something to browse on and check social media on the couch, the iPad A16 is a solid option and especially so $279 shipped.
