Amazon undercuts Prime Day deal on mid-range 13-inch M3 iPad Air at $169 off

One of the more standout Apple deals we have tracked since the Prime Day festivities ended is Amazon’s offer on the mid-range 256GB 13-inch M3 iPad Air cell model down at $879.99 shipped. Regularly $1,050, this undercuts the Prime Day deal by $20 to deliver a new Amazon all-time low on this particular configuration. 

You’re looking at a solid $169 price drop here and the lowest we can find. Seeing anything better than $150 off on the more affordable end of the M3 iPad Air storage tiers is a notable discount for sure. It’s really only the higher-end models that have seen deals any deeper than that.  

Apple has now unleashed the new M5 iPad Pro, and while anyone looking towards the pricey pro models might not be considering the M3 Air right now, some of them perhaps should be. There’s nothing quite like a shiny new iPad Pro in my opinion, but that’s a serious investment and one that is likely overkill for all but the most power hungry users and those looking to replace a MacBook setup with an iPad. 

Most folks are likely just fine with the latest 2025 model iPad Air in terms of the performance and capabilities it brings to the table. It is a relatively new release still that likely won’t be refreshed until spring 2026 at the earliest, and one that makes for a far more budget-friendly upgrade.
