M5 models are here, but this 1TB nano-texture M4 iPad Pro just hit the Amazon low at $315 off

The new M5 iPad Pro has surfaced this week and is now up for pre-order. We have already detailed some ways to save some cash on your new M5 pro-grade iPad, but if you’re looking to save a whole lot more than that, Amazon just dropped this 1TB 11-inch M4 iPad Pro config to a new low at $315 off the list price. 

Amazon is now offering the upgraded 1TB 11-inch M4 iPad Pro with the nano-texture display and Wi-Fi + Cell setup for $1,583.95 shipped. Regularly $1,899, this is just over $315 off the list price and the lowest prices we have tracked to date at Amazon on this setup. Previous to today this config had never dropped below the $1,599 we featured last go around, and even then, we had only tracked it that low twice since release in mid-2024. 

While it might seem a bit crazy to drop $1,500 on a tablet, never mind one that just became a previous-generation option, and maybe it is, but we are talking about a banger of an iPad and one that will remain as such for quite some time if you ask me. The new models are notable, but they are largely identical looking and the M4 was arguably the best tablet on the planet not much more than a few days ago. And if it took this long to see the M4 down this low, chances are it will be well into next year before the upgraded M5 starts to see deals like this. There was, after all, a time not long ago when a $100 price drop on this M4 would have been quite notable.
