Over at Amazon, you’ll find 8BitDo’s official storefront offering Prime members its latest Mecha BREAK-themed Retro 87 TKL keyboard for $69.59 shipped. This model first launched back in June with a $120 price tag as part of the brand’s Retro 87 lineup, which also includes other popular models like the Xbox Edition keyboard. It dropped to the $90 mark a couple of months back as part of Amazon’s Labor Day sale, but today’s 42% discount steps it up with an additional $20 off. This 8BitDo Retro TKL keyboard comes from an official collaboration with Mecha BREAK: PANTHER, and it sports a unique custom finish over a frosted, see-through shell. Like other models in the Retro TKL series, this keyboard works with both Windows and Android devices and offers tri-mode connectivity via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless dongle, or USB-C. Its tenkeyless layout includes a dedicated Game Bar button along with a couple of rotary encoders, and it even ships with a pair of customizable Super Buttons. 8BitDo has equipped this unit with Kailh Jellyfish Pro switches on a hot-swappable PCB, and they’re all topped with durable matte UV-coated doubleshot ABS keycaps.
