My personal pick for the best Bluetooth speaker release of last year was the Bose SoundLink Home. There were some other great-sounding speakers that landed last year, and even newer and more powerful models from Bose this year, but there’s just something about the brushed metal and retro-modern look of the Home model that speaks to me – it looks about as gorgeous as it sounds and it’s now down at one of the lowest prices we have tracked. 

Amazon is now offering the Bose SoundLink Home Speaker at $179 shipped in the Cool Gray color and, my personal favorite, Light Silver vibe. 

You’ll also find these two models matched on the official Bose site alongside its exclusive Warm Wood color treatment that features a sort of more natural dark wood and beige combination. 

The Bose SoundLink Home carries a regular list price at $229 in all three color and is now $50 off for the lowest price we can find as part of the brand’s early holiday offers. 

Deals on this speaker have been generally hard to come by, we have only really tracked a few chances to save on this one since we went hands-on with it around this time last year. Only once have we ever tracked a deal for less than we have here today and that was the Prime Day offer at $20 less. 

Easily one of the most chic and classy Bluetooth speakers out there in its price range for me, it features the aforementioned brushed metal frame with the sort of floating, fabric-wrapped speaker, and matching metal controls along the top of the unit. It doesn’t really have any fancy features and high-tech integrations, but this is actually its strongest selling point and the real highlight for me here – it doesn’t try to be anything else other than a great speaker that looks as fantastic as it sounds.
