First discount lands on official Apple Crossbody iPhone Strap today at nearly 20% off

It’s no official iPhone sock or anything, but Apple’s Crossbody Strap is a whole lot less pricey (and available) with the first discount now landing on Amazon. Apple unleashed its brand new crossbody iPhone strap accessories alongside the iPhone 17 lineup this year and this morning we spotted the first chance to save some cash on one. 

While this is not the complete, lineup-wide sale we were hoping for, Amazon has dropped the Light Blue Apple Crossbody Strap down to $48.38 shipped. That’s nearly 20% off the regular $59 list price and the very first shot at some actual savings. 

The Light Gray mode is also marked down to $53.69 shipped. That’s clearly not much of a discount, but it also isn’t the worst (nearly 10% off) considering these things have barely budged from the full $59 price since release in September.

Apple certainly isn’t the first to release an iPhone strap like this – third-party accessory brands have been selling these and things very much like them for years now. But if you didn’t already know that, you were likely confused or entirely underwhelmed when our launch coverage first went live on 9to5Mac. Since then, however, it seems as though Apple’s new Crossbody Strap might make more sense than you might have thought, and, at the very least, aren’t quite as useless as they may seem. 

It’s not for me, but the first-party hands-free iPhone accoutrement might be a fun gift or something you might have had your eye on, and the 100% recycled yarn strap with stainless steel sliding mechanisms and embedded flexible magnets has never sold for less (providing you’re into the discounted color options anyway).
