With Black Friday having opened the holiday shopping gates, we’ve put together this holiday gift guide for all your commuting and joyride needs. Below, you’ll find a curated list of our favorite models from each of our favorite brands for e-bikes and e-scooters. Many of these brands have or are slated to launch further holiday deals in the coming days, so prices/bundles may vary as time goes on, with our favorite picks being those giving you the best quality for their respective MSRPs. There’s still time to jump on some of these models and get them ahead of the big upcoming holiday, though there is no real telling just when deliveries will go out at this point (though some may have such dates featured on their landing pages). Head below to learn more about these brands and their best e-mobility offers on the market.

Lectric eBikes
The king of the proverbial hill and a standard setter in the American e-bike market, Lectric not only offers quality builds, but does so while keeping prices within accessible ranges. Not only that, but they consistently keep such quality-to-cost across its various genres of e-bikes, with just about any variation for every need falling into more budget-friendly ranges.
Of course, the crown jewel for this brand is the XP4 and XP4 750 Folding Utility e-bikes that come with up to $514 bundles of FREE add-on gear (which is where the discounts generally come from this brand) that are priced at $999 shipped for the 500W model that boasts up to 50 miles of pedal-assisted support, while the 750W model comes with a larger battery at $1,299 shipped for up to 85 miles of PAS travel. Plus, these e-bikes come boasting folding frames that significantly helps those living in smaller homes/apartments and want to save on storage space. Of course, you can learn about the latter of these in our hands-on review, with the only difference between them being their motor and battery sizes.
Another solid option that offers similar long-range commuting support alongside a manageable design is Lectric’s XP Lite2 Folding e-bike, which is the lightest solution from the brand, weighing just 49 pounds. There are three main choices here, starting with the standard e-bike at $799 shipped (though these tend not to be given bundle packages) that gives you up to 45 miles of PAS support, while the long-range e-bikes sit a little higher at $999 shipped (with $350 bundles of FREE gear) for up to 80 miles of PAS support. Now, for either the standard or long-range models, you can also upgrade to a Gates Carbon Drive belt system that offers quieter performance and longer-lasting lifespans over chain drives, with the standard model at $899 shipped and the long-range JW model at $1,099 shipped.
Another notable option from this brand are the XPedition 2.0 Cargo e-bikes that come with three battery variations for more and more travel range, as well as 450-pound total payloads, while also typically seeing the largest range of FREE bundled gear (up to $893 during its Christmas sale). You’ll find the base 13Ah model at $1,399 shipped and bringing along a max 60-mile travel range, the 26Ah dual-battery model at $1,799 shipped with up to 120 miles of support, and the 35Ah dual-battery model at $1,999 shipped and maxing out at up to 170 miles of travel.

Segway EVs
Another member of EV royalty that can be trusted to give you what you’re paying for is Segway, with the brand’s electric scooters and newest e-bikes coming as solid options, though some of the best models tend to sit at much higher prices.
Among my favorites, the brand’s newest E3 Pro Electric Scooter comes as a well-rounded solution that starts at $700, but is currently down at $599.99 shipped in the brand’s latest Christmas Holiday Sale. This feature-packed option gives you up to 34 miles of travel, dual elastomer suspension that has held up very well in my time using it around pot-hole lined streets of NYC, and even smart features like Apple Find My and in-app/passcode locking/unlocking.
There’s also the ZT3 Pro All-Terrain Electric Scooter that can regularly be found throughout the year around $1,000, though with the brand’s sale you can score it at its all-time lowest rate of $849.99 shipped. This model comes tailored for all-terrain adventures with upgraded smart features (Apple Find My, auto-proximity locking, more) alongside a greater range of up to 43.5 miles.
Plus, since their releases, there’s been plenty of buzz surrounding the brand’s new e-bikes. Both of these models bring the brand’s best lineup of smart features, with the Xafari e-bike being a more affordable commuter for up to 88 miles of PAS travel at $1,799.99 shipped ($600 off), while the Xyber e-bike is more focused on thrill-seekers, hitting up to 35 MPH speeds and carrying you for up to 112 miles, with a current $400 discount to $2,899.99 shipped.
There’s tons of other options to consider too, at lower and higher prices, depending on your needs, which you can browse here in our original coverage of its current Christmas Holiday Sale.

MOD Bikes
A higher-end brand that is newer to the market, but has built quite a reputation over the last handful of years, MOD Bikes hasn’t been offering much by way of discounts since spring, but does put quite the quality into their models. Of these, my absolute favorite (from the brand and among all the other brands) is the Easy 3 Commuter e-bike that goes for $2,399 shipped, as well as its Easy SideCar 3 counterpart at $3,899 shipped, which I got to go hands-on with here.
These e-bikes come with high-quality builds and premium parts, hitting up to 28 MPH top speeds (which I have pushed a bit further up to 30 MPH via pedal assistance) and travelling up to 50 miles with pedal assistance (which can be doubled by picking up an extra battery). As the name of the latter of these models implies, it comes with a sidecar to take passengers along with you – mostly designed for pets, but can hold up to 150-pound humans, too.
There’s also the newer Easy SideCar Sahara at $3,899 shipped that sports a sand-beige colorway and a frame inspired by the 1940 BMW R 75 Sahara motorcycle, and the sidecar comes with upgraded features like additional lighting and a doggy door.

Heybike
Another brand of more budget-friendly commuting solutions, Heybike’s two standouts are also their lowest-priced options, with the Mars 2.0 Folding Fat-Tire e-bike down at $999 shipped right now, while the slightly more bolstered Ranger S Folding Fat-Tire e-bike is down at $1,099 shipped. They both provide similar experiences, with some slight variations across suspension systems, battery capacities, pedal-assistance sensors, security features, and payload capacities. There are also options for either 750W motors or 1,000W upgraded motors with both of them, which also brings along some additional features like hydraulic disc brakes, upgraded torque sensors, and more.
The Mars 2.0 model is more of the brand’s “standard” step-over commuter, which is equipped with a mechanical suspension system, a 600Wh battery (for up to 45 miles of travel), a cadence sensor, a standard headlight and taillight combo, and a payload capacity of up to 330 pounds. There’s also the latest Mars 3.0 e-bike with upgraded stock features at $1,299 shipped.
On the flip side, the Ranger S model is a step-thru e-bike that comes with a hydraulic front suspension system, a 692Wh battery (for up to 55 miles of travel), a cadence sensor that bumps to a torque sensor when upgraded to the 1,000W motor, an auto-on headlight, a taillight with turn signals, and a higher 400-pound payload. There’s also the latest Ranger 3.0 Pro e-bike with upgraded stock features at $1,499 shipped.

Aventon Bikes
Aventon has been a long-time contender in the e-bike market, and its latest lineup brings along plenty of notable upgrades from its previous-generation models, with the Aventure M e-bike sitting atop its hierarchy as a higher-end electric mountain bike for $2,799 shipped right now. This is a fat-tire off-roader that comes with a stronger feature lineup than the Ramblas e-bike, complete with a mid-drive motor for more well-rounded balance, hill-climbing power, and responsive torque sensor action – all for up to 85 miles of travel.
Of course, if you want a similar-ish experience at much less of a price, you can go with the Aventure 3 All-Terrain e-bike that comes with a step-through frame at $1,799 shipped or a step-over frame, also at $1,799 shipped. They might not offer as high-quality features like the above model’s mid-drive motor, but they do sport plenty of smarter functionality, including GPS tracking, an integrated rear wheel lock, in-app ride tune customization, a cross-model keyless battery, and more.
There’s also a great option for urban residents and commuters in Aventon’s Soltera 2.5 e-bike at $999 shipped, which weighs in at an easily manageable 46 pounds and gives you PAS support for up to 46 miles.

Navee Electric Scooters
You can definitely find plenty of budget-friendly e-scooters from Navee, though the standout for me has been its latest flagship entry, the ST3 Pro Electric Scooter at $854.99 shipped right now, and which I raved about in my hands-on review as a notable contender to Segway models.
Not only does the ST3 Pro come loaded with smart features, like Apple Find My, proximity locking, and more – the big standout here is actual its unique damping arm suspension system that does well on streets and trails. It offers up to 46.6 miles of travel range, thanks to the 597Wh battery, with a nice list of features that include traction control system, the triple-brake system (hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic regenerative brakes), self-healing puncture-resistant tires, ambient side lighting, and much more.

Velotric Bikes
Among Velotric’s options, you’ll find a well-rounded commuter in the popular Discover 2 e-bike at $1,799 shipped, which offers you up to 75 miles of pedal-assisted support, as well as Apple Find My inclusion, and even the brand’s SensorSwap tech that let’s you switch between a cadence or torque sensor in any moment, depending on what kind of terrain you’re traversing.
There’s also the savings you can get going with the Fold 1 Plus e-bike at $1,449 shipped instead, which provides travelling assistance for up to 68 miles alongside Apple Find My and the SensorSwap tech like the above model. What’s great here, too, is the folding design that helps to save you on storage space.
I personally also love the T1 ST Plus e-bike at $1,299 shipped, which, like some of the other lightweight models I’ve mentioned from alternate brands, weighs in the lightest at 39 pounds, providing you with PAS-only support for up to 70 miles.

Ride1Up Electric Bikes
This well-known and well-rounded brand has been spending the last few years branching out from street-only commuters, of which you can get space-saving functionality with the Portola Compact Folding e-bike at $995 shipped (and which gets on and off bundle packages added, too) while also getting up to 40 miles of commuting range.
Of course, outside of folding, the brand’s Vorsa Modular Multi-Use e-bike is probably the best all-around e-bike (as the name implies, it has multiple functionalities) down at $1,595 shipped, delivering up to 60 miles of pedal-assisted travel alongside quite the lineup of quality features.
If you have the money to spend, there’s also the action-paced Revv1 DRT Off-Road e-bike at $2,295 shipped, which can provide up to 60 miles of off-road fun at up to 30-34 MPH top speeds thanks to its hidden (and unclockable) power, which I got to experience first hand in my review. There’s a bunch of premium features here, too, including dual suspension, 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, custom Mold Innova off-road tires, customizable MOLLE panels for utility, and more.
