Rare deal has Apple’s latest USB-C Magic Mouse down at $68 today

It’s not the absolute lowest price we have tracked all-time, but deals are still relatively rare on Apple’s latest USB-C Magic Mouse. Over at Amazon, you’ll now find the regularly $79 white model at nearly 15% off the list price

Amazon is now offering the latest Apple Magic Mouse down at $67.99 shipped. Regularly $79, this is nearly 15% off and the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon in several months, Cyber Monday, Black Friday, and fall Prime Day included.

Deals are generally hard to come by on Apple’s latest Magic Mouse with the USB-C charging port. It has only seen a large handful of price drops over the last year at Amazon (many of them died off very quickly), and you’re now looking at the lowest price we have seen since mid-June.

There was an extremely short-lived offer at just over $64 previously, but catching this mouse at any less than we have here today is not easy – the readily available deals we tracked in late spring and early summer this year all had it at the same price we have here today.

For many, something like the new Logitech MX Master 4 with haptics and a whole load of customizable buttons is a more proficient and comfortable daily driver. As someone who had a chance to test out and review the new Master 4 ahead of release this year I can certainly understand all of that, but for me, the Magic Mouse is still king, delivering an ultra clean aesthetic, a wonderfully simple user experience, and the must-have swipe gesture support I simply will not do without.

If you think I’m crazy, check out my feature piece explainer below (it probably won’t change your mind):

  • Magic Mouse is wireless and rechargeable, with an optimised foot design that lets it glide smoothly across your desk.
  • The Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents.
  • The rechargeable battery will power your Magic Mouse for about a month or more between charges.
  • It’s ready to go straight out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac, and it includes a woven USB-C Charge Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac.
