Anker SOLIX has launched a collection of 72-hour flash sales as early Christmas deals, which will be lasting through December 11 for folks who want to score theirs ahead of the upcoming holiday sale. Among the lineup, the brand’s new C1000 Gen 2 Portable Power Station is down at $371.45 shipped, and matching the price over at Amazon. Only on the market since September, it’s coming down from its $799 MSRP with $428 cut from the tag, which we’ve seen on average keeping down around $449, and is only beaten out by the $349 low we spotted during its full Black Friday event two weeks ago. While there is no telling just when Anker will launch its official Christmas event, based on past years, there’s a good chance that it will be a day or two following the end of these flash savings, most likely on December 12.
The new Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 power station, as the name implies, is a second-generation model that comes lighter and more compact than its original, trading expandability for these new design features. There is a 1,024Wh LiFePO4 battery system here, which provides ample support to camp sites, tailgate parties, and even at home during blackouts. Don’t let its smaller size fool you into thinking it can put out decent power, as the 10 ports allow for up to 2,000W of steady output and surging as high as 3,000W.
One thing I’ve very much enjoyed is the fast recharging time of around 49 minutes through any standard AC outlet, like Anker has claimed, as using it for last-minute parties/trips is more doable. It brings along passthrough charging when connected to a gas generator (which is a new recharging method here), as well as offering up to a 600W solar input max, AC and solar dual charging, or charging as you drive from your car’s auxiliary port.
