Land M3 MacBook Air at up to $800 off the orig. price ahead of the holidays ($200+ under the M4)

This morning we detailed the dwindling $250 price drops on the M4 MacBook Air lineup for folks still looking to land one at the Black Friday price, but these M3 models are also worth a look. While they are not the latest and greatest, they are still a compelling pickup considering you can get them at up to $800 off the original price and a couple hundred bucks less than the M4.

Expercom – a trusted and very much fully authorized Apple dealer – has an Amazon storefront. And over on that there Amazon storefront it has some notable prices up for grabs on 15-inch M3 MacBook Air configs:

The original and regular prices listed above are specifically from before the M4 machine was released for reference – here’s a more realistic breakdown of the savings (remember the M3 machine was a lot more expensive before Apple got rid if the 8GB RAM tier):

  • 15-inch M3 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB originally $1,699
  • 15-inch M3 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB regularly $1,499 after RAM bump
  • 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB regularly $1,399 after $100 official price decrease

All of that might be helpful to some, but a better way of looking at this deal is to say that these deals are among the lowest prices we have tracked in 2025 while landing well under the price tag on the M4 machines – here’s where pricing sits on those models:

The M3 is certainly not an M4, but it is, by and large, more than fast enough for most users and is one you can get under the tree right now for a significantly less.
