This Acer 27-inch gaming monitor lets you pick between 4K 160Hz and FHD 320Hz, and it’s down to $240 today (All-time low)

We just spotted a deal at Amazon that drops Acer’s 27-inch 4K UHD gaming monitor down to $239.99 shipped. This is a fairly new model in the brand’s Nitro lineup that hit the scene carrying a $350 price tag. It saw its first big markdown when it dropped to $300 for Prime Day earlier this year, but today’s deal steps it up with an additional discount. It’s now fetching $60 less than its previous all-time low, making this a great time to cash in. This is the lowest price we have tracked for this display, and it’s a capable model that can swtich between 1080p 320Hz and 4K 160Hz modes based on the kind of gameplay experience you’re looking for. Head below for more details.

This Acer gaming monitor can dynamically switch resolutions, letting you play in crisp 4K at 160Hz or ultra-fast FHD at 320Hz. That versatility makes it ideal for both competitive esports and visually rich single-player games. It’s similar to more pricier models like the AW2725QF display that’s currently fetching $500 for the holidays after a $50 discount. The IPS panel delivers a 0.5ms GTG response time and 90% DCI-P3 coverage, while the port selection is decent, but limited to dual HDMI 2.1 and a DisplayPort 1.4. You also get AMD’s FreeSync support here, along with some other highlights like slim bezels and a sturdy base, rounding out the package.

If you don’t mind splurging on an OLED monitor, Samsung’s 2025 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 is down to $900. It sports a 4K 240Hz panel, and it’s down from its usual price of $1,300. Samsung, in fact, is offering deals on a bunch of other products, including SSDs, laptops, and more, as part of its Holiday sale, so be sure to check them out here.

Acer Nitro VG270K 27-inch gaming monitor features:

  • Quality Visuals: The VG270K 27″ IPS monitor with 3840 x 2160 UHD resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio presents stunning, high-quality images with excellent detail. The zero-frame design does away with the thick frames found on conventional monitors freeing up precious screen space.
  • AMD FreeSync Premium Technology: Say “goodbye” to stuttering and tearing. With AMD FreeSync Premium, the monitor’s frames are synced with the graphics card’s frames, which eliminates screen tearing and provides the smoothest gaming experience.
  • Quick Refresh Rate: Different content has different refresh rate and resolution requirements. If you are playing an FPS or racing game, you will need a monitor with a high refresh rate. However, if you are doing office work or streaming videos, a higher resolution will be more beneficial. With DFR technology, users can choose a higher resolution, or a higher refresh rate based on what is suitable for them.
  • Responsive: Up to 0.5ms GTG (Gray to Gray) response time enhanced gamers’ in-game experience. No matter if the fast-moving action or any dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting.
