It may be priced for $1,400 in full directly from the brand, but you can find it starting lower for $1,000 at Amazon. This model began the Christmas shopping season down at $700, but has now gained an additional $50 discount for a total $350 savings from its going rate, landing it at the third-best price we have tracked. Segway’s Max G2 Electric Scooter may not come with the most premium bells and whistles like the newer Max G3 e-scooter, but it’s still a more advanced ride over many of the brand’s other options, especially with smart features like the Apple Find My inclusion, and more. The frame comes built with weather-resistant steel and cradles a 450W motor inside (with a 1,000W peak) along with a 551Wh battery, allowing for 22 MPH top speeds for up to 43 miles of commuting on each full charge.
It’s been given a larger footboard and front suspension to elevate rider comfort, with the usual folding design for easier management and storage when not being ridden. From there, you’ll find further features like self-healing tubeless tires to prevent flats, a traction control system for riding over wet streets, turn signals, a rear regenerative brake with front drum brakes, an LED screen for settings, and more.
