Samsung just unleashed five new 2026 Odyssey gaming monitors including the ‘world’s first’ 6K 3D and 1,040Hz displays

While there are still some solid holiday discounts floating around on Samsung’s existing Odyssey lineup — including a massive $1,450 price cut on the 2nd-gen 55-inch 4K Odyssey Ark — the company is already looking ahead. Samsung is going big for 2026, and it has unveiled as many as five new models. Two of these are particularly noteworthy as they stand out as the ‘world’s first 6K Glasses-Free 3D’ and the ‘world’s first 1,040Hz Refresh Rate’ models for gaming. We’ve rounded up all the details below, so hit the jump to see what Samsung has in store for 2026.

Samsung’s new 2026 Odyssey monitor lineup is here

The first gaming monitor that really stands out here is Samsung’s 32-inch Odyssey 3D G90XH. It’s being pushed as the ‘world’s first 6K glasses-free 3D display,’ building on the smaller 27-inch G90XF that debuted earlier this year. This larger 32-inch version delivers native 6K resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate, and it can also switch into a dual-mode setup that drops to 3K for a faster 330Hz refresh with a 1ms GtG response time.

Powered by real-time eye tracking, it adjusts depth and perspective in response to the viewer’s position, creating a layered sense of dimension for smooth, uninterrupted gameplay without the need for a headset. PC gamers can enjoy a high-quality expanded lineup of supported titles with optimized 3D effects developed in collaboration with game studios. Featured games such as The First Berserker: Khazan, Lies of P: Overture and Stellar Blade will offer added dimensionality that enhances terrain, distance and object separation beyond standard 2D gameplay.

Another notable addition to the lineup is the 27-inch Odyssey G6 G60H. It’s being positioned as the first gaming monitor to offer a 1,040Hz refresh rate, achieved via a Dual Mode setting. Outside of that mode, it still delivers native QHD resolution at up to 600Hz, which is still pretty impressive. It also supports both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync to reduce screen tearing and stutters for smoother, more consistent gameplay across different GPUs.

Lastly, there are three Odyssey G8 models – the 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS), the 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF), and the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH). The 32-inch G8 G80HS leads as the first 6K gaming monitor in the G8 series, running at 165Hz with a Dual Mode that switches to 3K at 330Hz. The 27-inch G8 G80HF steps in as a sharp 5K option, offering 180Hz natively or 360Hz in QHD via Dual Mode. Rounding things out is the 32-inch OLED G8 G80SH, which pairs a 4K QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, strong contrast, DisplayHDR True Black 500, and DisplayPort 2.1 for high-bandwidth HDR and VRR. All three support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync, and they all have a similar design with slim bezels around the display, a sturdy base, and so on.

Samsung hasn’t shared pricing or availability yet, but the full 2026 Odyssey lineup is expected to be showcased at CES 2026.
