Today, on this new edition of our 9to5Toys Travel Kit series, we’re taking a quick look at the gear I’ll actually be carrying with me for an upcoming holiday-season trip. This isn’t a work-heavy trip by any means, so I’m keeping things fairly light, while still covering the essentials – staying charged, keeping track of my stuff, and having a camera ready when I need it. Below is a quick look at the tech I’m packing into my EDC this time around, and why each of these items made the cut for the journey ahead.

Baseus 70W 6-in-1 Universal Travel Adapter
A travel adapter is a must for any international trip, and this is the one I’m using this time around. The Baseus universal adapter works across most countries, delivers up to 70W of power, and includes a built-in retractable USB-C cable. It can keep my phone, camera, and laptop charged without making me carry a pile of extra chargers.
- Baseus 70W 6-in-1 Universal Travel Adapter $37.99 (Reg. $50)

Insta360 Go Ultra
This tiny Insta360 Go Ultra has lately been my go-to travel camera when I want great footage without carrying a big rig. It shoots smooth 4K 60fps video and 50MP photos from a pocketable body, plus comes with magnetic mounts and a flip touchscreen pod – ideal for POV clips, quick vlogs, and travel highlights.
- Insta360 GO Ultra Standard Bundle $379.99 (Reg. $450)

LISEN 0.3-inch ultra-slim 5K MagSafe power bank
I always like having a quick-top-up charging solution on the go for my phone, and this LISEN ultra-slim 5,000mAh MagSafe portable charger has been doing it for me lately. It snaps on magnetically and gives reliable wireless charging without making me look for cables. It’s the slimmest battery pack I currently have in my stash, which instantly makes it better than most options out there – at least for me – as I’m usually only looking for a small top-up instead of a full charge on the go.
- LISEN 0.3-inch ultra-slim 5K MagSafe power bank $24.99 (Reg. $35)
UGREEN Apple Find My trackers

I’ve packed a couple of UGREEN Apple Find My-compatible trackers to help keep tabs on my stuff – one slim wallet-style card and a standard smart tag – so I can quickly locate keys, luggage, or anything else that might wander off. Both hook into Apple’s Find My ecosystem for easy tracking while I’m on the move.
- UGREEN FineTrack $9.99 (Reg. $16)
- UGREEN FineTrack Slim wallet tracker $23.99 (Reg. $30)

Baseus Inspire XH1 ANC headphones
I always carry an ANC pair of headphones when I travel, mainly for flights and long transit days. These Baseus over-ears are coming with me this time – they have solid ANC to cut down cabin noise and up to about 65 hours of battery life with noise cancelling on, which is more than enough to last through long flights and layovers without constantly recharging.
- Baseus Inspire XH1 ANC headphones $99.99 (Reg. $150)

UGREEN MagFlow Qi2.2 25W 3-in-1 charging station
This UGREEN foldable wireless charging stand is coming with me because it’s compact and does triple duty. It folds down when not in use, and it can open up to charge my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods from a single outlet at the hotel. I’ve already spent time with it, and you can read my full 9to5Toys Tested review for a deeper breakdown.
- UGREEN MagFlow Qi2.2 25W 3-in-1 charging station $99.99 (Reg. $140)
Additionally, I’ll also be carrying along a few other picks I highlighted earlier, including the VITURE Pro XR/AR glasses – you can check out those right here.
