Best Buy launches first Outlet sale event of 2026: Up to 50% off clearance tech and more

Best Buy has finally flipped out its end of year sale with a new 2026 Outlet Event with up to 50% in savings. If those Black Friday and holiday deals just weren’t deep enough for you, or you’re just looking to shore up your tech lineup with some notable open-box offers at even lower prices, the first Best Buy Outlet Event of the year has arrived.

Best Buy 2026 Outlet Event

Best Buy’s first Outlet Event sale of the year has landed this morning, trading out the holiday offers for even lower prices on clearance gear, open-box listings, and refurbished products across just about every product category – wearables, TVs, laptops, gaming gear, small kitchen appliances, and more.

As we have detailed in the past many a time, Best Buy’s open-box listings are a great resource for deep discounts on both previous- and current-generation releases. They often times come along with the same warranty as the new gear and are often times closer to barely-used, in-store demo units, or returned items than full-on preowned gear.

This event will run for the better part of the month until January 19, 2026, but like much of its best open-box offers, there’s no guarantees on stock and whether or not the prices will change on the “excellent” condition gear. It is, perhaps, worth at least browsing through now to see if anything catches your eye while the prices are still relatively stable.
