Govee unveils new smart sky light with ‘true-to-life illumination indoors’ at CES 2026

CES 2026 is about to officially kick-off and the new product reveals are already starting. Next up, we are taking a look at the latest from smart lighting brand Govee with three new flagship products headlined by its most advanced floor lamp yet and a pair of Sky Ceiling Lights, one of which brings “true-to-life sky illumination indoors.”

New Govee smart lighting from floor to sky at CES 2026

Govee is brand well known around here for its relatively affordable smart lighting solutions, ranging from desk lamps to permanent outdoor solutions, but its new releases for CES 2026 are focused on a trifecta of flagship indoor solutions.

First up we have the Govee Floor Lamp 3 – a next-gen “floor lamp powered by advanced color and AI power. The brand says it is most advanced model yet, featuring “LuminBlend+ for ultra-precise color and an unprecedented 1000K–10000K light temperature range.” It also comes along with AI Lighting Bot 2.0 and the new DaySync system for “personalized ambience and adaptive, time-aware illumination.”

No release date or price has been provided just yet on the new Govee Floor Lamp 3.

Smart Sky Lights

Next up we have the new Govee Ceiling Light Ultra and the Govee Sky Ceiling Light. While both similar in shape and application, the former is described as the “industry’s first ceiling light designed as a true creative canvas,” while the latter lands as a unique ceiling light solution designed to deliver “true-to-life sky illumination indoors.”

Govee says the Sky Ceiling Light is designed to “mimic daylight in a natural way” using “custom-engineered LED and architectural gradient illumination to recreate clear-sky tones and soft skylight transitions, making it a perfect addition to enclosed or windowless spaces.”

The Ultra model, however, sounds like it is a far more advanced experience, at least in terms of its customization options. It “features an industry-leading 616-pixel LED matrix for vivid patterns and animations” with AI Lighting Bot 2.0 that “enables dynamic lighting effects” in combination with “enhanced DIY tools [that] allow for further creative expression through the lights.”

It provides ample illumination for spacious family areas and maintains a natural, true-to-life appearance across objects and skin tones, supporting both everyday comfort and visual clarity in the home.

Much like the floor lamp, no release dates or prices have been mentioned in today’s press release.

And here are some of the other tech Govee is highlighting in today’s CES 2026 press release, much of which is used to enhance the experience in the new products above.

  • LuminBlend+: Govee’s upgraded color management system, engineered to deliver accurate, stable and true-to-life lighting, thanks to a 16-bit precision chip
  • AI Lighting Bot 2.0: Integrates Govee’s proprietary technology with advanced generative models to create more expressive and intuitive lighting
  • DaySync: Simplifies the process of matching indoor lighting to the time of day with smart preset options that deliver suitable lighting for different activities
  • Samsung SmartThings integration: Govee now integrates with Samsung SmartThings, allowing effortless control and automation of Govee products (complements existing Matter, Alexa and Google Assistant support).
