Last spring Spigen debuted the Snapzip MagSafe Pouch – a MagSafe accessory I affectionately refer to as the Spigen mini iPhone backpack – and now you can land one down at the $29.99 Amazon low. There also a newer variation now as the Tintap Zip that delivers a similar feature set with a slightly more streamlined look and the same MagSafe action down at the $28.99 Prime shipped low right now to.
Spigen’s official Amazon storefront is now offering its Snapzip MagSafe Pouch down at $29.99 with free shipping for Prime members or in orders over $35.
While it is listed with a $50 regular price and it can fetch that much direct, this thing has never sold for more than $42 on Amazon and is typically listed for less. That said, the $30 deal price here is the lowest we have tracked at Amazon since it appeared there last April.
It’s mostly in the name here. This is a miniature pouch that looks an awfully lot like a miniature little backpack. It is designed to store your EDC and various accessories with a hand strap and carabiner in place to affix it to your person. But it also happens to feature MagSafe functionality allowing it to snap to the back of your iPhone as well.
It is certainly a quirky and arguably gimmicky little accessory, but it could also be quite handy for folks looking towards an ultra-compact EDC carrier too, even if you don’t use the MagSafe action very often.
The TinTap model mentioned above lands with the same one-handed grip action as well as onboard MagSafe, RFID Protection, and a “quick-access front slot for 2 cards, interior mesh pocket holds up to 5 cards and your AirPods.”
