Ride1Up has an ongoing New Year e-bike sale that is taking up to $600 off models, with the biggest of these discounts being on the Prodigy V2 Brose Step-Thru Mid-Drive 9-Speed e-bike that starts from $1,895 shipped, with its step-over variation sitting $100 higher, while the Prodigy V2 Belt-Drive configuration is going for $2,595 shipped. The chain-drive e-bike carries a $2,495 full price, and its belt-drive counterpart goes for $2,795, with most of the discounts in 2025 having been falls to $1,995 and $2,595. The belt-drive model seems to be keeping to its trend, but the chain-drive model is retaining the previous $600 discounts we saw during Black Friday and Christmas sales, giving you another shot at the best price we have tracked. You can browse the other offers during this event below.
The Ride1Up Prodigy V2 e-bike, particularly its chain-drive variation, is quite the rare chance at scoring a mid-drive e-commuter below the usual $2,300 – $2,500+ range, which is where the belt-drive counterpart falls. Regardless of which version you choose, you’re getting a premium ride that comes equipped with a German-made 250W Brose TF Sprinter mid-drive motor (peaking at 950W) and supported by faster pick-up from the torque sensor. There is a 504Wh battery powering the system, providing up to 30 to 50 miles of PAS travel, maxing out at 20/28 MPH top speeds, determined by your state laws.
Of course, that’s not all you’re getting with these e-bikes, as your experience will be further elevated by features that include Tektro HD-M745 180mm hydraulic disc brakes, Maxxis Rekon Race tires with fenders, an 80 lux headlight, a Commuter Glow 6V taillight, 100mm air fork suspension, a rear cargo rack, a Brose 1.5-inch color display, and more.
