Both of these models are no longer available direct from the brand’s website, but you can find the lesser H800-VF robot at $1,299 shipped there, making these two Amazon deals all the better, as you get more yard coverage with them. They’d normally go for $1,599 and $1,999 at full price these days, though we’ve been seeing them hold at $1,299 and $1,599 since December, with things going even lower today. While we have seen the price in past years drop further, you’re still looking at solid $600 and $700 markdowns that are worth considering while you upgrade to smarter and more autonomous mowing.
These are the two higher-end models in Segway’s Navimow H Series of robot lawn mowers, with the H1500N-VF covering up to 0.37 acres of land on each full charge, while the H3000N-VF covers the most land of up to 0.74 acres. Both come with batteries that allow for up to 240-minute runtimes, according to the brand, with their systems smart enough to return the robots to their stations to recharge before picking up where they left off afterwards. You can set cutting heights from 1.2 inches to 2.4 inches, and they come with IP66 waterproof construction for dealing with sudden weather changes.
You can toss out your concerns over having to lay out boundary wires, as these models boast RTK satellite positioning, while the VisionFence Sensor tag teams with that system for greater navigation and obstacle avoidance. On the note of the RTK positioning, it also serves to hunt the robot down should it get stuck on terrain somewhere or even taken off your property by thieves.
