Apple’s latest USB-C AirPods Max are nearly $100 off this week (All colors)

As ushered in by this morning’s Best Buy 2026 Winter Sale, we are now tracking $100 price drops across the latest AirPods Max (USB-C) lineup. While we have been seeing this price come in and out of stock already this year, color options have been very limited and this morning Amazon has all five options at nearly $100 off the list price. 

Amazon is now offering the latest AirPods Max (USB-C) at $449.99 shipped. Regularly $549, this is $99 off the going rate at Apple and the lowest price we can find in brand new condition. This same deal is live at Best Buy right now as well. 

These deals we are tracking today are, naturally, not quite as notable as those we featured over the Black Friday season last year, but we are still talking about nearly $100 in savings here. There were a couple short-lived opportunities to land a set at closer to $400 during the big sale season in November 2025, but we, by and large, haven’t seen them below $499 at Amazon since.  

As of right now, the only notable chance to land them for less we have spotted this morning would be to go with the Best Buy open box units. You’ll find select colors starting as low as $383, but all of them are at least $40 less than we are seeing at Amazon today with the full 1-year Apple warranty in tow. Whether or not that’s enough of a difference to side-step the new price is up to you of course, but it is less cash out of pocket.
