Normally priced at $1,899 without discounts, it’s more often been found keeping down around $1,599 over the last year, especially once tariffs ramped up in early 2025, with things since only having gone as low as $1,499. This Aventon Level 2 commuter e-bike may not bring along the more advanced smart features seen on its new Level 3 descendant, but it still comes as a fully capable means to get around without relying on gas-guzzling methods, especially considering it offers a pedal-assisted range of up to 60 miles on each charge (supported by a torque sensor). The 500W rear hub motor (with a 750W peak) works with the fully-integrated 14.0Ah battery to reach up to 28 MPH speeds when utilizing the PAS system, while relying on the throttle alone can only ever achieve top 20 MPH speeds, not to mention lessening its travel range.

The Level 2 e-bike held the brand’s flagship mantle before its newer counterpart was released, with it still offering a great set of features for a relatively lower price than you’d expect. There’s a front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, an integrated headlight, an integrated taillight with brake activation, a rear-mounted cargo rack, hybrid tires, a Shimano 8-speed derailleur, a backlit LCD screen, and more.
