Amazon is offering the new MSI EV Life NEMA 14-50 Level 2 EV Charger with a NACS connector at $424.99 shipped, with its J1772-compatible model also down at $424.99 shipped. These newer charging solutions only hit the market back in August, with them usually going for $500 at full price. The few discounts we’ve seen have dropped costs to $450, $425, and a $400 low back during Black Friday. If you missed out on that low, you can pick up either model at the second-best pricing we have tracked, saving you $75.
Unlike many of the EV chargers we’ve seen on Amazon that usually sport J1772 connectors, these new MSI level 2 EV Chargers come sporting a choice of NACS or J1772 connections to cover the various EVs driving around America and beyond. They allow for up to 40A charging speeds, which deliver 29 to 39 miles of range to your battery for every hour they are connected. They come boasting an IP55 water and dust-resistant construction in order to handle both indoor and outdoor installation, only needing a NEMA 14-50 outlet to plug into. Purchasing either charger also gives you a 5-year warranty and global customer support.
You can also find cheaper options in the multiple Autel EV Chargers that we have collected into our EV hub here (alongside e-scooters), though keep in mind those are mostly designated as J1772-compatible devices. If you’ve been wanting an alternate form of commuting solution outside of e-scooters or four-wheeled EVs, you can check out the many deals/sales in our e-bikes hub here.
