These M3 MacBook Air models are now up to $500 less than the M4 ($800 under orig. price)

With M4 Air prices now back up closer to full price than they have been in months, folks looking to land a deal on MacBook that don’t need the latest and greatest might want to scope out these M3 deals. They are now as much as $800 off their own original prices and $400 less than the comparable M4 models.

These deals come courtesy of trusted and fully authorized Apple dealer, Expercom. The retailer is a well known entity in the official third-party Apple dealer space and it is currently offering some notable prices on M3 MacBook Air units in brand new condition with Amazon fulfillment:

Now these are clearly not the latest-generation M4 machines, but they are still more than capable and a perhaps even more compelling option for folks looking to save more than a few bucks.

Here’s a quick reminder on the historical pricing history for the 2024 M3 MacBook Air models:

  • 15-inch M3 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB originally $1,699
  • 15-inch M3 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB regularly $1,499 after RAM bump
  • 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB regularly $1,399 after $100 official price decrease

By comparison to the latest M4 models, the 16GB/512GB configuration is now $400 less than the comparable M4 variant with today’s deals – that’s a ton of money.

I certainly wouldn’t blame anyone for holding off for a deep deal on the M4, but it might be a long while before we see anything this dramatic. As of right now, the best straight up cash deals we have seen across the lineup had them at $250 off – this put the 16GB/512GB config at $1,149.
