PNY debuted its Switch 2-compatible Express microSD card last year in May, and it was debuted in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities. Now, the brand has unleashed a new 1TB variant of its Express microSD card, and you can now grab it for $199.99 shipped at Amazon. It’s now one of the few Express microSD card options available in 1TB capacity, standing head-to-head with the likes of Lexar’s Play PRO model. Head below for more details.

These Express memory cards, in case you didn’t know, deliver better transfer speeds compared to the standard ones. This particular microSD card, which comes in white color, is capable of delivering read and write speeds of up to 890MB/s and 550MB/s, respectively. While it’s a bit slower than Lexar’s Play PRO Express microSD cards, which can hit 900MB/s, it’s right in line with SanDisk’s 880MB/s performance. PNY says it’s “up to 4.4x faster than standard UHS-I microSD cards,” making it a solid fit for gaming.
PNY claims its Express microSD cards are built for durability. They are resistant to magnets and shocks, and also protected against extreme temperatures, x-rays, water, humidity, and other environmental factors. Additionally, the brand offers a lifetime warranty and includes support for its Photo Recovery software with these cards.
The new 1TB variant of this microSD card, as previously mentioned, is now up for grabs at Amazon, and you can snag one for $199.99 shipped. If you’d rather not spend that much on a 1TB card, you can also get the 128GB variant for as little as $45.99 shipped.
