Best Buy thinks you might actually want to buy Apple’s 32-inch 6K Pro Display XDR – it’s $500 off today

Well, this is perhaps the most niche Apple deal we have featured in a long while, maybe ever, but it is also quite a rare one. There’s not very many folks out there looking to land a $6,000 display, and one that doesn’t even include the stand, but Best Buy’s Deals of the Day is featuring Apple’s 32-inch Pro Display XDR for today only at $500 off

As part of its Deals of the Day, Best Buy is promoting Apple’s insane Pro Display XDR with the Nano-Texture Glass upgrade down at $5,499 shipped via a third-party seller for some reason.

This model with the upgraded glass treatment carries a whopping $5,999 list price. Today’s deal however, nets you one at $500 off.

This is clearly a bonkers display that almost no one needs in their life, but deals on this thing can be quite rare and this is $500 off you are insane enough to drop $5,500 on a computer monitor that doesn’t even come with a stand or a mount.

It is of course Apple’s top of the line monitor, measuring out at 32 inches with a Retina 6K display and “astonishing color accuracy” though…so….

  • Extreme Dynamic Range (XDR)
  • Brightness: 1000 nits sustained, 1600 nits peak
  • Contrast ratio: 1,000,000:1
  • P3 wide color gamut, 10-bit color depth
  • Superwide viewing angle
  • One Thunderbolt 3 port, three USB-C ports

If you’re not completely out of your mind and ready to drop the price of a used car on your monitor, another 32-inch monitor I do actually recommend scooping up is for your Mac setup is something like the SamsungSmart Monitor M8 – you can almost land this one for less than the tax on the Pro Display XDR. Regularly $700, it is also marked down to $399.99 shipped right now, and this comes with the stand (and a built-in webcam, and a whole bunch of other stuff).

Here are some additional monitor deals we are tracking right now:
