Best Buy has refurb 13-inch Midnight M3 MacBook Air units at $400 less than M4 model ($600 under orig. price)

Today we are highlighting another chance to score a notable deal on the previous-generation M3 MacBook Air lineup. For some folks, the power boost on the M4 just isn’t worth the price, even with the deals, and Best Buy has the 13-inch 16GB/512GB model at nearly $400 under the price of the comparable M4 right now.

Best Buy is now offering the Geek Squad Certified Refurbished 13-inch M3 MacBook Air with the Midnight finish, 16GB of RAM, and the 512GB SSD down at $799.99 shipped

This model started life at $1,499, dropped to $1,299 after the official RAM upgrade, and is now $399 under the sticker price on the comparable 16GB/512GB M4 MacBook Air from Apple.

Now, that M4 is on sale at Amazon right now for $1,049 shipped, and we did feature it a few times at $949 over the Black Friday deal season and the holidays last year. But you’re still landing a relatively hard to find and quite universally appealing 13-inch configuration here at $149 less than the best price we have tracked on the comparable M4 variant.

That is still, perhaps not quite enough of a difference for some folks considering this is a Geek Squad refurbished unit, but for others that’s a significant amount of cash, and it might be a long while before we see M4 machines at prices like this from a reputable source.
