Rare deal drops Apple’s latest USB-C Magic Mouse down to $68 today

Apple’s Magic Mouse isn’t for everyone, but if you’re anything like me there’s just no substitute for its multi-touch gesture support, and we are catching a relatively rare chance to score a deal on the latest USB-C model today at Amazon.

Amazon is now offering Apple’s latest Magic Mouse in the classic white finish down at $67.99 shipped. This model carries a $79 list price and is now nearly 15% off to deliver the lowest price we can find in new condition from a reputable source.

While the 15% discount might not seem like a ton, deals on Magic Mouse aren’t exactly easy to come by. We did catch a few chances to score this same price across the Black Friday and holiday deal season last year, but this deal does not come around often and it rarely lasts for very long. Outside of the Black Friday deal and a fleeting one-day deal last month, we hadn’t seen this mouse down this low at Amazon since May and almost never before that.

You’re looking at the latest model that is, by and large, the same as the previous iteration, just with the upgraded USB-C charging port. Some folks just can’t stand the ergonomics, or lack there of, on Apple’s Magic Mouse, and I totally get it, but for me it is a must-have. There’s something about the gesture swipe support that has become an extension of my existence at this point and I am yet to come across an alternative that can deliver that sort of intuitive control over web pages, and macOS, and Logic Pro sessions, and anything else for that matter.

This is certainly a me thing, and there are some great mice out there, like the last MX Master 4 from Logitech, but I need that Apple magic.

Apple Magic Mouse features:

  • Magic Mouse is wireless and rechargeable, with an optimised foot design that lets it glide smoothly across your desk.
  • The Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents.
  • The rechargeable battery will power your Magic Mouse for about a month or more between charges.
  • It’s ready to go straight out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac, and it includes a woven USB-C Charge Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac.
