You can grab an Amazon Fire tablet at just $40 for Presidents Day 2026

Joining a collection of its Echo smart displays and speakers that are now on sale for Presidents Day, we also spotted a solid deal on its already affordable Fire 7 tablet. A notable option for casual users, the kids, or just as something the whole family can use without breaking the bank, you can now scoop one of these up in brand new condition for just $40 today.

Amazon is now offering its Fire 7 tablet starting down at $39.99 shipped. This model regularly starts at an already affordable $60, but you can now land one at 33% off to deliver the lowest price of 2026 and a price on par with the best we have tracked straight from Amazon in brand new condition in roughly a year.

This certainly isn’t some high-end, ultra-powerful tablet solution, but that is sort of the point here, and perhaps its best quality for me. It’s literally a casual Amazon tablet with a 7-inch touchscreen you can pick up for just $40 right now – it’s no iPad mini, but it also costs about half the price of an iPad mini case right now. At a price like this, it can be notable option to have laying around the house for some light couch browsing, access to Alexa, or just for jumping on some quick video calls with friends and family.
