Apple’s 16GB/512GB M4 MacBook Air just hit one of the best prices ever at $320 off

The new M5 MacBook Air has arrived and will officially begin shipping today. It is still up at full price on Amazon and Best Buy does have a $50 credit for its paid members, but there are some seriously notable deals live on the M4 MacBook Air right now and we just spotted one of the best prices ever on the 16GB/512GB model at $320 off the original price

Firstly let’s take a look at the deals courtesy of Amazon – there are some seriously notable offers here sitting at the best prices we have tracked on Amazon at $300 off the lists for the 15-inch models:

However, over at B&H we just spotted the Midnight 15-inch M4 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD at $1,079 shipped – that’s $320 off the list price on this model M4 and $20 better than Amazon right now.

It is also worth noting that Amazon doesn’t even have the Midnight model down at the $1,099 right now and that Amazon has never offered this MacBook for less than this – today’s B&H deal is easily one of the best we have ever tracked for the 16GB/512GB.

How does this compare to the new M5?

This is arguably the most important question here. The new M5 MacBook Air has a more expensive starting price, but that also means you’re getting more RAM and storage space for less – the upgraded models are actually less expensive than they were on the M4 lineup:

  • 15-inch M5 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB $1,299 – full price
  • 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB $1,079 (Reg. $1,399) – today’s B&H deal

So the B&H deal today is $320 off the original price of that model and $220 off the comparable M5 MacBook Air with the same RAM and storage specs.
