The new M5 MacBook Air is now out in the wild and we spotted some $50 price drops across the entire lineup this morning at Amazon, but we also just spotted this M4 MacBook Air hitting its best Amazon price ever at $320 off the list price. 

Amazon is now offering the Midnight 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB at the $1,079 all-time low.

This model launched with a $1,399 list price in 2025 and is now $320 off for the lowest we have tracked at Amazon. This deal is (likely) in response to the offer we featured courtesy of B&H where it is sitting at the same price. 

Today’s deal is $20 under our previous mention on this model as Amazon began to clear out the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air models to make room for the new M5 machines:

While the MSRP on the comparable M5 machine with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage has now dropped $100 to $1,299, and you can score this model down at $!,250 right now on Amazon, the M4 is still at quite a wild price right now. It is still $250 less than the M5 and, if you ask me, still a very capable machine that will deliver more or less the exact same experience for most users.
