Amazon has officially announced the 2026 Big Spring Sale and the early deals are now live. It has now launched a dedicated early Big Spring Sale deal page featuring loads of smart home gear and its in-house Echo tech. We have already detailed some of the most notable offers and this morning we are looking at the nearly 40% price drop on the Echo Spot smart speaker with the onboard animated display.
Early Big Spring Sale Echo Spot deal
Amazon is now offering its Echo Spot smart speaker down at $49.99 shipped. Regularly $80, this is just shy of 40% off the list price and the lowest we can find.
While there are some other deals now live across the Echo lineup (you’ll find those below), the Echo Spot remains my favorite model in the lineup. It is a mid-tier option as far as price goes, landing well below the newer Dot Max and Studio variants, but also includes the unique display that allows it to double up as a handy little nightstand piece and adding some additional value to the purchase.
It’s not a display in the sense that you can watch videos on it and the like, but rather a more simple and yet still quite modern approach that allows users to, not only access Alexa audibly, but also see “ time, weather, and song titles at a glance,” as well as “control smart home devices, and more.” You can personalize the “display with your favorite clock face and fun colors.”
