This M5 MacBook Pro is nearly $300 less than the most affordable model Apple sells now

The new M5 Pro MacBook Pro models are still seeing some launch deals this week, but we wanted to highlight this deal on the most affordable M5 MacBook Pro you can buy – the 512GB variant down at $1,399.99 shipped. This is nearly $300 under the least expensive M5 MacBook Pro Apple sells now.

Amazon is currently offering the M5 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB internal SSD down at $1,399.99 shipped

This model launched at $1,599, and is now nearly $200 less than that. But now that Apple has done away with the 512GB storage tier permanently, this is actually nearly $300 under the lowest-priced model in the lineup.

All of that said, considering Apple now starts the lineup with 16GB/1TB at $1,699, and you can score this model at $1,499.99 right now via Amazon, a realistic regular price on the 512GB model is more like $1,499 – Apple typically charges $200 for storage upgrades.

But even still, this 512GB model isn’t even available from Apple and there’s no telling how much longer it will remain at retail (the silver model is already out of stock at Amazon). If you’re looking towards the most affordable way to secure some M5 power, this is very much it (on the Mac side of things).
