It’s back: Midnight M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB live again at all-time low – $320 off the list price

Just after seeing Amazon replenish its discounted stock of the 24GB model at $300 off this morning, it is now once again offering the 512GB 15-inch M4 MacBook Air back at its best price ever, or $320 off the original list price. 

Amazon is now one again offering the Midnight 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB at the $1,079 all-time low. This model debuted last year with a $1,399 list price and is now $320 less than that – we saw this same Amazon all-time low hit last week before going completely out of stock and now you have another shot at what we called one of the best MacBook Air deals in years. 

Apple has since debuted the new M5 MacBook Air, and with a storage bump at that. So while you can score a 16GB/512GB M5 MacBook Air at a lower price on the new-generation models, it still carries a much higher $1,299 list and is currently marked down $50 to $1,250:

We certainly wouldn’t blame anyone for skipping over the M4 for the new M5 at this point, but I also might argue that very few of the potential M5 buyers will notice all that much of a difference between it and the 2025 M4 model. And you can now score last year’s variant at $170 less.
