Amazon is now offering the M5 MacBook Pro in Space Black at $1,399.99 shipped. This is config with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage you can no longer buy from Apple.
It launched at $1,599 in late 2025 and is now nearly $200 less than that at Amazon with stock appearing to be quite low. There might very well come a time when this configuration is no longer available at all considering Apple has now officially done away with it.
The most affordable, entry-level M5 MacBook Pro you can buy officially from Apple includes the same 16GB of RAM but now comes with 1TB of storage and a $1,699 list price.
You can score this 1TB model from Amazon at $1,649 right now, but you’re going to really need/want that extra 512GB of storage to spend the additional $249 over the model featured above.
