Amazon is now offering nearly $100 off AirPods Max (USB-C) ahead of the pre-order launch for the new AirPods Max 2 this week. Apple’s finally unveiled its next-generation over-ear headphones, and pre-orders are set to go live on Wednesday morning, but if the new H2 chip and other upgrades are not worth the full $549 price of admission on the second-generation model for you, AirPods Max (USB-C) are now nearly $100 off.
Amazon is now offering Apple’s AirPods Max at $449.99 shipped in Midnight, Blue, Purple, and Starlight. Regularly $549 – the same price the new AirPods Max 2 will launch at, this is $99 off and within $20 of the lowest price we have tracked this year.
As of right now, pre-order listing pages are already up at Best Buy and will, presumably, go live for purchase on Wednesday morning for the new AirPods Max 2, however.
We can’t tell exactly what the trade-in values will be for AirPods Max (USB-C), but Best Buy is quoting the Lightning AirPods Max at $130 in value when traded in towards the new AirPods Max 2 currently. We recommend checking what Apple will give you on the day of, but Best Buy appears to already be giving folks at least a general idea of what to expect here.
